in our lifetime vol. 2 continues Fenway Recordings’ groundbreaking compilation series with sixteen powerful new songs from some of the most dynamic new artists in the world. Following the success of volume 1 artists Ben Kweller and Ash, volume 2 introduces a number of young NYC-based artists as well as a substantial compliment from around the world. The energy in East Coast clubs is undeniable at the moment and a lot of it has to do with New York bands like Longwave, Radio 4, The Inflatablemen, and Rival Schools. There are two major artists representing the UK, Aphrodite (w/Schooly D) and Minuteman, an incredible new guitar band who are in the studio recording their debut album right now. Other highlights include My Morning Jacket from Louisville, former that dog frontwoman Anna Waronker, Roundtable MC’s from San Diego, and an unreleased song from Fenway Rec.'s own consonant. Also included is the debut of Nakia featuring Tony Hajjar from Sparta and at the drive-in, and Mexico’s Joselo.
