Beginning today, Nov. 23, Limited Edition MGMT "Congratulations" 7" are available to US fans at indie record stores. The limited edition vinyl is being released as a Record Store Day Black Friday exclusive, and will include the Erol Alkan remix and a 20-page illustrated booklet. MGMT just announced that they will be playing Austin's Fun Fun Fun Fest in November. Fun Fun Fun Fest takes place in Austin's Waterloo Park November 5-7. Tickets are available here. Francis and the Lights and AWOLNATION have been announced as support for MGMT's August 6th Lollapalooza after show at House of Blues Chicago. The show is a part of the Dare 2 Dream benefit concert series, put on by Platform One Entertainment and Lollapalooza. A part of the proceeds from the concert will go towards helping more students to enroll at the People's Music School in Chicago, the only tuition-free community music school of its kind in the United States. Tickets are available here.
MGMT have announced seven new show dates in Florida, Mississippi, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee in October and November. Tickets go on sale July 16th.
